Entering Points Learn how to enter new point and recall existing ones.
Managing Points Use the Points Manager to manage points
Transformations Transform coordinates based on units, projections and grids.

Traverses

Traversing Much of what you do in TPC involved traverses. Learn what they are and how they work.
Starting a New Traverse
Using the Traverse View
Side Shots Using side shots.
Elevations Learn how to carry elevations in a traverse with instrument / target heights and benchmarks.
Remote Observations Measure an object with a remote offset (can't put the prism on the object)
Angle Sets Learn how to use repeat and direction methods
Stadia Using Stadia
Adjusting a Traverse Choose from Compass Rule, Transit Rule, C&R, scale factors, precision and more.
Creating Traverses
Managing Traverses Add new traverses, duplicate or copy points from one traverse to another and report closure information.
Traverse Groups Groups help you manage your traverses.

Drawings

Drawing View Use the drawing view to graphically view your data or create a new drawing.
Traverse Drawing Settings Traverse settings determine the line type, point symbol, color, labels and other options TPC draws from the traverse.
Drawings Learn how TPC keeps track of your drawings.
Drawing Objects Learn about Smart Drawing Objects and how TPC can do almost all of the drawing for you.
Drawing Commands Drawing commands pick up where the Traverse Drawing Settings leave off.
Grouping Objects Grouping drawing objects makes them easier to work with.
Line Types Using line types .
Creating Traverses from Drawings Learn how to create or modify traverse just by picking points from a drawing.
Blocks Using blocks .
Hatching & Fills Hatching and filling areas .
Pictures (rasters) Insert raster images like jpg, tif, gif into a drawing.
Legends Using smart legends.
Line & Curve Tables Learn how to add line and curve tables to a drawing.
Layers Working with layers.
Drawing Data Access all the data in a drawing through our new Drawing Data Manager.
Drawing Templates Drawing templates are easy to create and easy to use and they save you lots of time.

Alignments

Station Offsets Learn how you can use stations and offsets to define points just like you use coordinates.
Cross Sections

Vertical Curves
Horizontal Curves
Highway Spirals
Railroad Spirals

Surfaces/DTM

Surfaces Turn points into a surface using a TIN.
Manage Surfaces Creating, duplicating, editing, etc.
Volumes Compute volumes to a specific elevation, the border or another surface.
Slope Analysis Compute the areas in each slope class and shade them in on the drawing.
Transects Draw a line between any two points and TPC creates a transect based on the surface.
Cut Sheets Generate cuts/fills from another surface or a traverse.

Geodetics

Geodetics TPC works with Geodetic positions just as easily as it works with grid coordinates.
Geodtic distance types Work with geodesics on the ellipsoide or at a project elevation.
Geodetic drawings Create geodetic drawing with appropriate distance, direction and area labels.
Geodetic COGO COGO routines can now work with geodetic data as well as grid data.
Geodetic Area TPC computes geodetic areas and includes elevation scale factors if requested.

Cadastral Surveys

Cadastral TPC includes PLSS tools right out of the BLM Manual of Survey Instruction
Entering Traverse Data Enter true bearings and ground distance per the BLM Manaul
Setting Out Points Generate PLSS stakeout notes to set out true corners from temporary ones
Single Proportion Compute the position of a lost corner
Double Proportion Compute the position of a lost corner using 2-point, 3-point or 4-point methods
Grant Boundary Do a Grant Boundary adjustment with all the intermediate results
Irregular Boundary Do an Irregular Boundary adjustment with all the intermediate results
PLSS Drawings All the tools are here to complete your cadastral surveys right inside TPC

Files

Importing Learn how to imported supported file types like SDR, TDS, DWG, DGN, etc and upload data from a data collector.
Exporting Learn how to export supported file types like ASCII, TDS, DWG, DGN, etc or download to a data collector
Survey Files Learn how to create, delete, appennd, open and share your survey files.
Sharing Data Include your blocks in a drawing so others can use them too.
