The following Drawing Codes are currently supported in this version of TPC Desktop.
.BL
Begin Line
Begin a line with this point and continue drawing lines to each consecutive point until the .EL code.
This command always breaks the incoming line.
.EL
End Line
End the current Begin Line code with this point. No more lines are drawn until we get another drawing code that creates lines.
.BC
Begin Curve
Begin a curve (arc) with this point and draw arcs through consecutive points until we get a .EC code.
Unlike the Begin Line code, this code does not break the incoming line. As such, you can issue a .BL code and use .BC/.EC codes to show any curves the line passes through.
.EC
End Curve
End the current curve (arc) with this point. Lines following this command will be tangents.
.BF
Begin Figure
Begin a figure (polyline) with this point
.EF
End Figure
End the current figure (polyline) but don’t close back to the initial point
.CF
Close Figure
End the current figure (polyline) and close back to the initial point
.R3
Rectangle from next 3 points
Draw a rectangle (polyline) using the next 3 points
.C3
Curve from next 3 points
Draw a curve (arc) using the next 3 points
.R2
Rectangle from next 2 points and width
Draw a rectangle (polyline) using the next 2 points as the length and the specified value as the width.
For example, the code .R2 4 creates a rectangle 4 units wide with a length determined by the next 2 points.
.PT Point
draw a line to the specified point (i.e. .PT 201 draws a line from 201 to this point)
.BS
Begin Smoothing
Begin smoothing the traverse at this point.
.ES
End Smoothing
End smoothing the traverse after this point.
