Hiding Line Types

By default, TPC lists all the pre-defined line types that ship with it. If the list includes line types you are unlikely to ever use, you can 'hide' them in the list. Once hidden, the line type will not appear in the list, but will still be available should you open an existing TPC survey that uses it.

To Hide a Line Type

1.From any view choose Tools | Program Settings and left click the Drawing View tab.

2.Left click the Line Types button in the Customize section.  TPC will open the UserLines.dat file that holds the line type definitions.

3.Locate the line type you want to hide and edit the line so that it begins with a minus sign '-'.

4.Close the UserLines.dat file. TPC will indicate that the changes you made will not take effect until you exit TPC and rerun it.
