LandXML files include information about the Units used for data in a file.
Importing
When importing a LandXML file, TPC reads the units from the file and uses this information to convert the incoming data to the current survey units.
If you turn on the [x] Details option when importing, TPC will add the following section to the details report, indicating the units stored in the imported file.
When you export a LandXML file, TPC uses the current survey units to determine the units of the exported LandXML file. For example, if the survey you export from is in meters, the LandXML file you export will also be in meters.
