I can use find in the point manager to select points by a part of the description (ie FENCE) .. then after i click next-next-next it will highlight all the points with FENCE in the description. that is fine unless there are 200 points with FENCE in the description.
Is there a way via a dialog box to select all points in the points manager by a word or multiple words?

You can find information on this in the Inserting Existing Points section of the Traverses Learning Center.
You can also find information in the Point Codes Learning Center on automating the entire process so that you don’t need to do this manually.
One other thing that you may not be aware of (even though it does not entirely answer your question) is that you can sort the Points Manager by clicking on any column header.
