ParticipantI always struggle with new templates editing margins and labeling outside TPC border. For records of survey I always include Book____of Surveys, Page_____, so the recorder can write in book and page upon recording. Corner records require Document Number, Agency Index and other page info in footer for County Surveyor. Is there an easier way to add text outside of margin? I know there’s a way to adjust the page setup margins 0.4 and then right click on border edit margins 0.1? I never seem to get this right? I need 1″ margin for 8 1/2 x 11 and need to add text outside border.
Thanks

InactiveTony,
I think that you are on the right track but for one inch margins, I would probably do something like 0.8 in page setup, 0.2 in border properties and you need to turn on the option to draw outside the border in Drawing Settings.
Once you get it set up the way you want it, go to Tools | Save Drawing as a template. Save it with an appropriate template name so you can use it for future drawings. Set it up once and use it many times.
Let me know if I missed the point of your question.
