To access a Point Code's properties in the Point Code Manager
•double click it
•or right-click it and choose Point Code Properties...
TPC displays the Point Code Properties dialog
Name
The unique code name. TPC sorts codes in the Point Code manager based on their names.
Description
Describes what the code is and does.
Alias
An optional alias you can assign to the code. See Using Point Code Aliases.
Layer
Specifies a Traverse Layer to be assigned to any traverse created for this code. See Traverse Layers.
Traverse Group
Select the Traverse Group you want any new traverse created for this code to belong to.
In the example shown above, the FNL - FENCELINE traverse will be added to the Features traverse group. See Grouping Traverses.
Sort Nearest
If turn on, TPC will sort traverse points to nearest neighbor in any traverse created for this code. See Sorting Points Within Traverses.
Set Survey Point Symbol and Size
If turned on, TPC will set the survey point symbol and size of each survey point with this point code when survey points are sorted into traverses using point codes.
Traverse Drawing Settings
Sets the Traverse Drawing Settings TPC copies to any traverses created for this point code when survey points are sorted into traverses using point codes.
OK
Accept these settings and update the point code.
Cancel
Close the dialog without updating the point code settings.
