Use this command to transform the survey from its current CRS to another CRS.
You can also use this command to convert selected traverses or points from whatever CRS they were imported in to the current survey CRS.
Warnings
Starting in TPC Desktop 2011, if you are not transforming the entire survey, TPC warns you if it encounters any fixed geodetic positions. The warnings appear in the Message View and lists the survey points that are affected. If you transform the entire survey, you will not receive this warning.
The reason for this is that if you establish the position of any survey point geodetically, that geodetic position is fixed. This is not the same as the point being protected, it just means that the coordinates of that point are dependent on the geodetic position of that point and the CRS used to transform between between coordinates with geodetic positions. The coordinates of such fixed geodetic points can not be transformed because they will just be 're-transformed' from the fixed geodetic positions.
