The settings in this dialog determine how TPC converts the traverse data into a legal description. They insure that the information in the legal description is consistent throughout the description itself. Once the description is created however, you can edit the information as needed.
Navigation pane on the left
This is the way you'll navigate through the legal dialog. The first thing on your screen will be Legal Description Style.
Notice there are five main categories, Current Style, Settings, Sequence Phrases, Geometric Phrases, and Nested Phrases. Any of those five categories and their sub categories can be clicked which will let you make changes to items related to that category.
The Current Style category lets you load existing and save changes to your legal styles.
The Settings category will have five sub-categories which let you change things related to Distance Units, Area units, Decimals, etc.
The Sequence Phrases category lets you change the phrase text for sequence related phrases
The Geometric Phrases category lets you change the phrase text for geometric related phrases
The Nested Phrases category lets you change the phrase text for nested related phrases
