Sharing Drawing Data

You import and export drawing data via the Drawing View's Tools menu. These commands operate on the current drawing being displayed in that view.

This topic doesn't cover importing and exporting draw data in detail since it is covered elsewhere, but does provide links to find those topics.

Drawing Data

Drawing Data is different from Survey Data. Drawings are entities like lines, text and polyface meshes on layers and the layouts that create the drawing page.

CAD is the primary environment in which drawing data is used, so TPC includes tools to interface with CAD in the context of drawing data.

Other Drawing Deliverables

You can work in TPC's drawings and never use or think about CAD.

Just use TPC's Quick View™ technology to create your drawings then deliver them as printed drawings, PDF files, raster files like JPG or vector files like PNG.
