Beginning with TPC 2025, RTK base points are not included in a drawing unless you turn them on.
Plot RTK Base Points (2:19) - You can now exclude remote RTK base points (like CORS) from a drawing.
Why Turn Base Points Off?
So that CORS station you are using, that is 4 miles from your project, won't affect Zoom Extents in the drawings for the site or clutter up your drawing.
Also, if you mix GNSS with ground traversing, you may want to show the control points for the ground traverse but not the RTK Base points for the GNSS. This option allows you to do just that.
Turning RTK Base Points On / Off
You turn them On or Off with the [x] Plot Base Points in the in the Drawing Settings, Miscellaneous tab.
On - TPC includes includes RTK Base points in the drawing.
Off - TPC does NOT include RTK Base points in the drawing (default).
Identifying RTK Base Points
RTK Base points are the control points in a GNSS Base & RTK Points traverse, like point 10107 shown here.
Prompt to Turn Them Off on Import
When you import GNSS data into a survey, TPC checks the location of the RTK Base points in the traverse it creates. If any RTK Base point is outside the project area as defined by the extents of the RTK points themselves, TPC checks to see if [X] Plot RTK Base Points is turned on. If it is, TPC prompts you to turn it off or leave it on.
