Finding Monument
Finding an original stone corner monument with a scribed ‘X’, set F.A. Lane during the 1890’s. A rare find in this particular area owing to 150 years of farming, cutting of drainage ditches along boundaries and poor corner records. My new helper Scott assists in the find after only 3 days on the job.

Found Stone
No it is not a big gold nugget, but ‘X’ marks the spot on this rare stone corner find in the Woodland bottoms April 2012. It was we who added the paint, tags and flagging.

“Attached is my 1st successful attempt at completing a complicated drawing totally within TPC.  Not that we could not make drawings in the past, just never could get the look I was seeking.   All of my past surveys have been resolved using TPC, but we had been finalizing in CAD.  Looks like we won’t be utilizing CAD programs any more for boundary mappings.   I estimate a significant cost savings looking forward.

Open an old CAD drawing and you get a nice drawing, open Traverse PC you get a story of your previous work field to finish, raw data, control, applied analysis and the project drawings all in a single file.”
