Use TPC Where You Need It
TPC can be installed on any number of computers. The number of computers that can run TPC at the same time depends on your license and available activations.
For a Single User license, one activation is shared among all of the computers you use.
That means you can have TPC on your desktop, laptop, or another computer without needing to purchase a separate license for each machine.
When you move from one computer to another, simply deactivate the license on the computer you’re leaving and activate it on the computer you’re using.
TPC provides three different ways to deactivate a Single User license, so you can choose the method that works best for your situation.
What About Network Licenses?
Network licenses are designed for organizations where multiple computers need access to TPC.
A Network license has a set number of activations, allowing that number of computers to run TPC at the same time.
For example, a Network license with three activations can allow three computers to run TPC simultaneously. Additional computers can have TPC installed and use an activation when one becomes available.
This gives offices flexibility without requiring a separate license for every computer.
Why Multiple-Computer Access Matters

Taking TPC Into the Field? You Don’t Need Internet Access
Your TPC license gives you flexibility beyond the office. If you’re taking a laptop into the field, you don’t need to worry about finding an Internet connection to keep working.
TPC can run without Internet access for up to 30 days using its grace period.
Whether you’re collecting data, checking a survey, reviewing a project, or preparing work in the field, you can keep TPC with you without depending on an Internet connection.
